1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 large can pineapple (crushed or tidbits) drain some

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Beat all ingredients on low speed, scraping bowl until mixed. Beat on high speed scraping bowl 3 minutes. Pour on top of pineapple in skillet. It needs to cook about an hour until top is golden brown and tooth pick comes out clean. You can cut this recipe in half and cook in smaller skillets or sheet cake pan. It wont need to cook as long. When cake is done, place serving platter on top of skillet and flip upside down
