5 lbs potatoes
1/2 cup butter
1 onion, chopped
2 cups milk
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
1 lb Velveeta cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice potatoes to about 1/2 inch thick. Put in a pot, cover with water and boil unit potatoes are tender, but not falling apart. In a medium saucepan, melt butter, add onion and cook until tender, add milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Velveeta cheese. Cook and stir on medium heat until cheese melts. Drain potatoes, and place in a large casserole dish, pour cheese sauce over potatoes and bake at 350º until top browns. About 30 minutes
