1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste or 1 jar Ragu sauce
1 1/2 cup water (if using paste)
1 garlic clove
2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. lasagna noodles
1 lb. cottage cheese
2 (8 oz) Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese

Brown meat and drain. Add onion. Stir in tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer covered 30 minutes. Layer noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese and Mozzarella. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
