1/4 c. Shortening
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Buttermilk

Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Cut in shortening till crumbly. Stir in quickly the buttermilk and form dough into ball. Roll out on floured board to 1/2 inch thick. Cut out with round cookie cutter or glass. Place on baking sheet and bake at 425º for 12-15 minutes.
