Alcohol base: Vodka (80 Proof higher) or Brandy

Simple Syrup (2 parts sugar, 1 part water boiled 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Cool.)

Flavorings (spices, nuts, peels, pure extracts(peppermint, almond,etc.)

3 cups of Fruit (ie fresh oranges, peaches, lemon/lime, or apricot)

1. Place 3 cups of fruit in a wide mouth covered gallon jar
2. Cover Fruit with Vodka (approximate 3 cups)
3. Cover and steep for 2 weeks.
4. Strain and filter.
5. Add sugar syrup and mature 2-3 months.

Lisa says to only use fresh pineapple. You can use frozen berries. Fruit and flavoring combinations: Apricot & Almond Extract, Orange & Clove, Pineapple & Vanilla, Sliced Strawberries and 3 tbs of powdered sugar.
Lisa suggests using organic fruit or washing the fruit well before using. She liked strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple best and said that he peaches turned brown.
