3/4 c margarine
1/2 c evaporated milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Mix the cake mix according to the package directions. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan and pour one-half the batter into the pan. Put this half in the oven and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan, over low heat, melt the caramels with the margarine and milk. Pour this mixture over the half of the cake that has come out of the oven. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans over the caramel. Pour the remaining batter over the top and return to the oven for another 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
