1/4 c light or heavy cream,
2 tsp. sugar,
Green and or red leaf lettuce.

For variety also:
fruit (thinly sliced apples, grapes, mandarine oranges, etc) and walnuts if desired

Wisk sugar with cream. Toss with lettuce. Add fruit and nuts if desired. DONE!

This is a northern German salad completely disrespected in the rest of the country! It's refreshing and delicious in the summer and pairs with lots of dishes. Spring Mix also does well with the cream sauce. Iceberg lettuce does not!
