1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 cup mixed raisins and nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees


Mix soda with applesauce and let set. Cream butter and sugar, add egg and applesauce. Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture. Place in square baking dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Frost with a butter cream frosting.
