2 cans minced clams
2 c. diced potatoes
2 c. chopped celery
1 c. finely diced onion
1qt. half and half
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
white pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Pour clam juice over vegetables and cover with water. Boil until vegetables are done( about 20 min.) In a separate pan melt butter, add flour & spices, stir until smooth. Add half and half and cook on medium until thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Add undrained vegetables and clams and serve.
