1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
yolk of 1 egg
shake of cinnamon
2 tbsp. sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. milk
4-6 apples thinly sliced

Topping:
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients, blend in butter, add yolk and milk. Press into a shallow 8 x 10" pan. Lay sliced apples in overlapping rows on top of batter.
Mix the topping ingredients together and spread over apples. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
