1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 lb butter or oleo
1 cup quick cook oats
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oats, let stand 10 minutes
Cream butter, sugar and eggs, add soaked oats and other dry ingredients and mix well
pour into 13x 9 inch pan

Mix in separate bowl
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup pecans
1 egg
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp milk
mix well and spread over cake before baking
Bake @ 350 for 35-40 minutes
