1 c. butter
3/4 c. desacated coconut
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add the egg, coconut and vanilla, then flour. Drop by spoonfuls or roll in hands and form crescents. Bake on a greased cookie sheet @ 350º for 10 minutes.

This recipe was Grandma's mom's. They are really yummy, you do have to use desacated coconut--not the regular. It may be hard to find, but it is worth it. I'm sure that Cake Pan Alley or a cake store would have it. BR
