2/3 C tarragon vinegar
1/2 C salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 T sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
dash freshly ground pepper
2 T water
dash tabasco
1 box button mushrooms (2 6oz cans, rinsed and drained, may be substituted)
1 medium onion

Directions:
Directions:
For marinade, combine all ingredients except mushrooms and onions, mix well.

Slice onion and make rings.

Clean mushrooms.

Add onions and mushrooms to the marinade and refrigerate over night.
