1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp 2% milk
1 ( 14 oz) bag of caramels
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 ( 6oz ) bag chocolate chips
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 2% milk, put half
of this batter into a lightly buttered 9x13 pan.Bake @ 350 for 6 minutes
Melt caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk in microwave or on top of stove, pour this over. the layer in pan and top with chocolate chips and nuts.
Dot the rest of the batter over all
Bake @ 350 for 20 minutes
Cool, cut into bars or squares
