1 box Duncan Hines cake mix, any flavor
1 egg, well beaten
4 1/2 oz Cool Whip
6-12 oz. chocolate chips, if desired

10X (powdered) sugar, for rolling cookies in
Directions:

Mix above.
Chill for 2 hours.
Roll into 1" balls, roll in powdered sugar.
Place on buttered or Pam©-sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake @ 350º for 10 minutes for chewy cookies, 11-12 minutes for crispy cookies.
