1 cup margarine or butter
1 - 3 oz package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp grated orange rind
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, cream cheese and sugar well.
Beat in egg yolk, vanilla and grated orange rind.
Gradually blend in flour, salt and cinnamon which have been sifted together.
Fill press. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.

I divide the cookie dough into 2 balls and add green food coloring to one and red to the other. If you sparsely mix the color, when pressed they will come out variegated. Cookies freeze well.
