2 cans asparagus
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
3/4 cup light cream
3/4 cup asparagus juice
1 3-oz pkg chive cream cheese, diced
1/2 cup blanched almonds, chopped or sliced
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup bread crumbs
2 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Make a cream sauce; Melt butter, stir in flour slowly add cream and asparagus juice, stirring over low heat until mixture begins to thicken. Add diced cheese, almonds and parsley, stirring over low heat until cheese dissolves. Pour over asparagus. Cover with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Cook in 400 oven for 15 minutes. This can be put together ahead of time, even the day before
