l large garlic clove, minced ( I use 2)
l teaspoon salt
l teaspoon paprika
l/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 pounds uncooked headless shrimp in shells
lemon wedges

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the garlic with the salt in a bowl and stir in the paprika and cayenne pepper. Add the olive oil and lemon juice to the garlic mixture and stir until the consistency of a thin paste. Add the shrimp and toss until evenly coated. Chill for an hour or more. Thread the shrimp onto skewers and grill or broil for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until the shells turn bright pink, turning once. Serve hot or at room temperature with lemon wedges.

Be sure to chill the shrimp for at least an hour. We love this recipe. I serve it with a good salad, French bread and white wine. Enjoy.
