2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c shortening
4 T cocoa
1 c hot water
1/2 c sour milk
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 t soda
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan bring butter, shortening, cocoa and hot water to a rapid boil, pour over flour and sugar. Stir well then add milk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased 11x17 jelly roll.

Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes

5 minutes before cake is done mix and bring to boil
1 stick butter
1 1/2 T cocoa
6 T milk
Stir in 1 box powdered sugar, 1 t vanilla and 1 c chopped pecans. Mix well and spread while hot. Let cake set 5 min before topping is applied.
