1 C shortening
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C sifted flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together thoroughly shortening, sugar and eggs
Sift together flour cream of tarter soda and salt and stir into sugar mixture.
Chill dough
Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2 in apart on cookie sheet.
Bake until lightly browned but still soft.
400 º 8-10 min
