1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt

Topping:
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. flour

Directions:

Heat oven to 375
Lightly spray an 8-in or 9-in. square pan
In mixing bowl blend all cake ingredients using a wire whip. Scrape out bowl, spread evenly in pan.
In small bowl mix the topping ingredients with a fork till crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
