2 large green peppers
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 - 16 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown or white instant rice, uncooked or
1/2 cup cooked rice.
1 tsp dried minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp dried parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Cut peppers in half from top to bottom. Remove seeds, rinse well. Mix hamburger with rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, parsley. Add enough tomato sauce to hold together (about one-half can). Fill each pepper half. Place in casserole dish. Add water to remaining tomato sauce to fill can, mixing well, and pour over peppers. Bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes. Great served with Spanish rice.
