1 c lard
1tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
3 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/4 c milk
1 c raisins or nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine lard, salt, vanilla, and nutmeg. Stir well and then add remaining ingredients. Drop on pan and press with a glass covered with a damp cloth. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
