2 pkg yeast
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup scalded milk
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
4 1/2 to 4 3/4 cup sifted flour
3 beaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Add shortening to scalded milk, cool, add yeast to cooled milk and water. add other ingredients but flour. stir in flour to make soft dough. turn out onto floured surface. knead lightly 5-8 minutes.
place dough in greased bowl, turning into greased surface. cover let double. turn onto floured surface. divide dough in thirds. roll each into 9 inch circle. brush with melted butter. cut each circle in 12 wedges, starting with wide end. roll to point. place point down on greased cookie sheet. brush top of rolls with butter. let rise 45 minutes, covered.
Bake @ 375 10-12 minutes
