2 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion chopped
2 cans 4oz. diced green chiles
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 15 oz. can pinto beans drained
1 15 oz. can lima beans drained
1 15 oz. can hominy (optional 2) drained
1 15 oz. can red kidney beans drained
1 pkg 1 1/4 oz. taco seasoning
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. (1 oz.) ranch dressing mix
3 cans 15 oz. stewed tomatoes
shredded cheese and tortilla chips (optional)

Brown meat and onion, then drain. Add all remaining ingredients except cheese and chips. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour. Top with cheese and chips
