5 bananas, 1/4 c.margarine, 2 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream bananas, margarine and sugar in bowl, Mix in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and blend well. Bake at 350 in 2 small or 1 large, greased or sprayed bread pans for about 60 mins. A toothpick pushed into loaf will come out clean when bread is done. Remove from pans and place on wire rack to cool. Store in plastic bags or air tight container.
