Topping: 1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/4 C Flour
1/4 C Butter
Base: 1 1/2 C Flour
1/2 C Sugar
3 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1/4 C Milk
1/4 C Oil
3/4 C Apple, peeled and shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, stir flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Make a well in the centre.

In another bowl beat egg, milk and oil to blended. Stir in apple. Pour into well of dry ingredients. Stir until just moistened. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full.

Sprinkle with prepared topping.

Bake at 400º F for 20-25 minutes.

If they are too dry add more apple. Topping really makes them delicious and scrumptious.
