1 lb of ground beef
1 cup whole kernel sweet corn (drained) or one 15 1/2 oz can (drained) if preferred.
1 can black olives chopped
Packet of tamale mix or Sloppy Joe mix

To make your own sauce
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Topping
1 1/4 cup corn meal
12 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup water
1/2 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef in large skillet and drain fat
Add rest of ingredients, stir and pack into 8" casserole dish

Topping
In sauce pan over medium heat, stir constantly corn meal, evaporated milk, water and sugar for 5-7 minutes. Top casserole as thin or thick as you like with corn meal mix.

Bake at 375 º for 7-10 minutes or until corn meal feels slightly crunchy when taped by spoon or fork
