2 c. boiling water 2 c. diced potatoes 1/2 c. sliced carrots 1/2 c. diced/chopped onion 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 2 c. milk 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 c. diced cooked ham
Add vegetables to boiling water. Cover and simmer for 30 min. Do not drain. Melt together over low heat butter, flour and milk, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Combine cheese mixture, ham and uncooked vegetables. Enjoy with warm, fresh bread!
