1 c. dried apricots, cut up
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2. c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Cook apricots in water 5 to 10 min., let cool. Cream together butter, margarine, sugar & brown sugar. Add egg, vanilla & almond extract. Add flour, salt, baking powder & apricots. Place dough in refrigerator until chilled (can chill overnight). Roll in walnut size balls. Roll balls in coconut. Bake at 350 10 to 15 min., until golden brown around edges. Cool. Frost with Butter Frosting.
