2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp.baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp.vanilla
1 cup bananas (2 or 3 mashed)
2 tbsp.milk

sift together dry ingredints.
cream shortening&sugar.
beat in nuts.stir in vanilla. add flour mixture alternately in thirds with bananas&flouerd (loaf) pan.
bake 350 degrees for about 50 minutes
