1/2 C butter or margarine
1/2 C peanut butter
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 C flour
3/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, peanut butter, both types sugar, egg and vanilla & set aside.
Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture & shape into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter and place on a cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in white sugar & use a fork to make a crisscross design on top of each cookie.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
