1/2 C brown sugar 1 tsp whole allspice 1 tsp whole cloves 1/4 tsp salt Dash ground nutmeg 3 inches stick cinnamon 2 qts apple cider Orange wedges
In large pan, combine sugar, allspice, cloves, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon & cider. Bring to a boil slowly. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover & simmer 20 minutes. Remove spices & serve in mugs with a clove-studded orange wedge in each.
