1 ½ cups sugar ½ cup water 8 oz. Marshmallow cream 1 cup chopped pecans ½ cup chopped cherries, if desired
Boil sugar and water to form soft ball. Put marshmallow cream into a large bowl. Pour syrup over marshmallow cream. Add nuts (cherries, if desired) and whip until it holds shape. Drop from teaspoon onto wax paper. If mixture becomes too stiff, thin with a few drops of hot water.
