Mix together in a 2 quart baking dish:
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 tsp baking powder

Add:
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup crushed walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well with beater and place in baking dish.
Add topping ingredients by layers. Do not mix. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with cream.

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup cold water
