1 T lemon juice
1 T vegetable oil
1/3 cup water
1 artichoke

Directions:
Directions:
Wash artichoke and pull off lower petals. Cut off top quarter of artichoke. Place upside down in small glass bowl with water, oil and lemon juice. Cover with plastic wrap, cook on high power 7 minutes. Turn artichoke right side up, recover with wrap and let stand for additional 5 minutes.

For 4 artichokes, use small casserole, 1/4 cup water, 4 lemon slices and 1 T vegetable oil. Cook covered on high for 16 minutes, turn right side up, recover and let stand for additional 5 minutes.
