1 pound ripe and juicy cherry tomatoes,ones on the vine cut in half
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil,plus more to drizzle over finished pasta
1 tsp kosher or sea salt,do not use table salt
pinch crushed hot red pepper
1 pound penne
2 tbsp fresh basil leaves
1/2 to 3/4 pound mozzarella

Directions:
Directions:
Toss the tomatoes,oil,salt,and crushed red pepper together in large bowl.Let marinate at room temperature,tossing few times,for 30 min.
Cook pasta acording to package directions.strain.
Remove garlic from the marinated tomatoes and toss well with pasta.Check the seasoning ,adding salt or more red pepper if nec.Gently stir in cheese.
