3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 cup milk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and flour. Mix beaten eggs with milk. Pour into sugar and flour mixture. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Line bottom of casserole dish with wafers. Top with layer of bananas. Pour a portion of custard over bananas. Continue to layer wafers, bananas, and custard, ending with custard on top.

I always stand up wafers around the edges and crush some wafers and sprinkle on top.
