3/4 lb. or 2 c. chopped candied pineapple
3/4 lb. or 2 c. whole candied cherries
1 lb. white seedless raisins
1/2 lb. soft butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 oz. brandy flavoring
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
4 c. walnuts or pecans
honey

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and brandy flavoring. Add dry ingredients, fruits and nuts. Fill pan 2/3 full.
Bake at 275º for 2 hours
Brush with honey 1/2 hour before cake is done.

I am not a fruit cake eater, or so I thought, until I tasted my mother-in-laws fruit cake. This fruit cake is delicious!
