1 cup oleo (softened) 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 TBS cocoa 1 egg 2 cups self rising flour 1/2 bag of chocolate chips 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugars. Add cocoa and then egg. Gradually work in flour. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Bake about 7-8 minutes for soft, chewy cookies or 9-10 if you prefer them crispier.
