2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

FROSTING:
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 milk
1/4 cup butter
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350˚ F. Grease and flour bundt pan.

In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, beat oil and sugar until well combined. Add eggs one at a time and thoroughly mix. Add buttermilk. Mix in sifted dry ingredients until just combined. Mix in boiling water and vanilla to batter. Pour into bundt pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.

FROSTING:
In a medium sauce pan, bring sugar, syrup, milk and butter to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and add chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla. Drizzle frosting over cooled cake.
