1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
3/4 CUPS BUTTER
1-1/2 CUPS CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
5 EGG YOLKS,WELL BEATEN
5 EGG WHITES,BEATEN STIFF
2-1/2 SQUARES UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE (MELTED
1 TSP VANILLA

LINE A COVERED ALUMINUM 8 OR 9X12 INCH CAKE PAN WITH HALF THE CRUMBS. CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR WELL. ADD EGG YOLKS, MELTED CHOCOLATE AND VANILLA. FOLD IN STIFFLY BEATEN EGG WHITES.SPREAD MIXTURE OVER CRUMBS IN PAN. ADD NUT MEAT S AND REMAINING CRUMBS, SPREADING AND PATTING INTO MIXTURE. CHILL OVERNIGHT.
WILL KEEP SEVERAL DAYS IN REFRIGERATOR. FREEZES WELL, TOO.
SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND SHAVED BITTER CHOCOLATE, OR MINT OR VANILLA ICE CREAM.
