2 x 250gm punnets strawberries, 3 large green apples, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 cups water, 1 kg sugar.

Directions:
Wash, hull and halve the strawberries. Peel, core and quarter the apples, cut into thin slices. Put fruit, lemon juice and water in large boiler, bring to boiling point then simmer with lid on until tender. Add warmed sugar and stir until dissolved. Increase heat and stir frequently, cook unti setting point is reached. Remove from heat, stand 5 minutes, pour into sterilized jars and seal.
