1 c sugar 1 c heavy whipping cream 1 Tbsp butter 1 lb. dates 1 lb. figs 1 lb. raisins 1 lb. coconut 1 - 2 c chopped nuts
Cook sugar, cream and butter to the soft ball stage on a candy thermometer. Beat until creamy, then slowly add dates, figs, raisins, coconut, and nuts. When well mixed, wrap in a dampened cloth, then in waxed paper. Let chill for 2 weeks in refrigerator before serving.
