1c sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 c lard(scant)
2 eggs
1tea vanilla
2 c buttermilk
31/2 c flour
1 tea cloves
1 tea cinnamon
2 tea soda
1 c raisins
1/2 c nuts
1 tea salt
Directions:
Directions:
Beat first three ingredients well. Add the eggs and vanilla
and then add the remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 º until
done. Frost with 2 cups of brown sugar and 3/4 c of sour cream boiled to soft ball stage.
