1 pkg. vegetable soup mix
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. chopped spinach
1/2 cup sliced green onions (I finely chop them)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 round loaf bread (rye or sour dough is good)
Raw vegies or crackers

Squeeze out moisture from thawed spinach, Mix spinach with other ingredients, Set aside. Hollow out bread. Pour spinach dip into bread. Cut extra bread into pieces, serve with dip.

This is a very good dip. The secret is to get the spinach as dry as possible, never too dry, and use green onions, no substitutions.
