1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tbls. sour cream 2 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 1 c. chopped, unpeeled apples
Preheat oven to 325º. Cream together the sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together dry ingredients. Add nuts. Combine first mixture with dry mixture. Stir in apples. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
