10 c. sliced peeled tart apples (about 8 medium)
1/3 c. sugar
2T. cornstarch
1t. ground cinnamon
1/4t. ground nutmeg
2T. butter, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a 2 1/2 qt. mircowave-safe bowl. Combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg: sprinkle over apples and toss to coat. Dot with butter, cover and microwave 11-12 minutes, stirring every five minutes
