1 C BUTTER

4 EGGS SEPARATED

1/3 C POPPY SEED

1 C BUTTERMILK OR SOUR MILK

SOAK SEEDS IN MILK

2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR

1 TSP BAKING SODA

2 TSP BAKING POWDER

1 TSP ALMOND FLAVORING

CREAM SUGAR & BUTTER, BEAT EGG WHITES
SET ASIDE. ADD EGG YOLKS, THEN FLOUR MIXTURE AND POPPY SEED WITH MILK.
FOLD IN EGG WHITES.
PUT IN GREASED BUNDT PAN AND SPRINKLE WITH TOPPING. USE FINGERS TO PRESS TOPPING IN SLIGHTLY.

TOPPING: 1/2 C SUGAR & 1 TSP CINNAMON

BAKE AT 350 FOR 50 MIN OR TILL DONE
