2 lbs fresh green beans,
4 slices bacon..diced,
2 small onions..diced,
1 cup water,
2 tsp.salt,
1/2 tsp. sugar,
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and snap beans into 1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces. In a large pot or dutch oven, fry bacon and onion until brown. Add green beans and the remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil, then cover and lower heat to a simmer. Cook about 45 minutes or until tender ( to your tenderness)
